Do you accept Insurance?
We do accept Major medical Insurance. The pricing of the membership is exclusive of insurance payments. Please contact the front desk for inquiries 295-5100 or email info@oceanrockwellness.com.
Do you provide vaccinations?
Yes we do. Dr. Peets Talbot will discuss safe vaccine administration with you and together will help you make an informed decision.
What do I need to know about Lab Testing?
Most lab tests ordered by Dr. Peets Talbot will be billed directly to your insurance by the lab. Some lab tests may not be covered by insurance and in these cases you will be charged a fee or a particular test by the lab or through Ocean Rock Wellness. Every effort will be made to make you fully aware of any additional costs.

What are Virtual Visits?
Virtual Visits allows Dr. Peets Talbot to provide health care from a distance. Sometimes it makes more sense to keep your child home. Virtual visits utilize many forms of technology such as phone, text, FaceTime, video chats, skype & email. A great way for the doctor to be able to swiftly and accurately diagnose a problem and produce a remedy! A Virtual Call under 10 min. is included in your membership. For Virtual Visits exceeding 10 mins. refer to fee schedule.
Can I contact Dr. Peets Talbot directly?
You have unlimited email access to Dr. Peets Talbot as well as ‘WhatsApp’ Messaging. To book a phone call with the Doctor please contact our front desk. All phone conversations must be booked in her schedule to ensure you have dedicated uninterrupted time. Phone calls are scheduled within 24 hours of receiving your request. If there is an emergency we recommend calling 911.
What happens if the Doctor is not available?
When Dr. Peets Talbot is not available for an extended period of time, which will be rare, she will ensure that a board certified pediatrician will be available to you and your family for any questions or issues that may require an office visit.
What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?
If you need to cancel please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment. We know that urgent matters arise and you maybe need to cancel within a 24 hour period, please give us a much notice as you can.
How does Membership address emergencies?
In an emergency please call 911. Dr. Peets Talbot should be notified after the emergency. She will then consult with the hospital staff, gather information and assist with your child’s medical needs.
What is the protocol if my child is in the hospital?
Dr. Peets Talbot is your health card advocate. She will be there to interact with the hospital staff and visit with you and your child. Your questions will be answered and you can rest assured that Ocean Rock Pediatrics will be there to guide you through your hospital experience.
What if I Opt Out now but then change my mind?
The membership program limits Dr. Peets Talbot’s patients numbers. The initial phase will all be available to 100 members. Setting the limit on the amount of patients enrolled allows Dr. Peets Talbot to give them the utmost personalized care. All the spaces will be filled eventually, we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to ensure you secure your place.
Does Ocean Rock Pediatrics have experience with Autism or other developmental disabilities?
Yes, Dr. Peets Talbot has worked with many kids with neuro-developmental and/or learning disabilities. She is confident that the Holistic Pediatric model can optimize their learning and development.
